It’s almost enough to drive one to the bottle. The Detroit Free Press reports that gasoline prices jumped 15 cents over just one week, between March 27 and April 2, to bring the state average to an alarming $3.75 per gallon. This caps over two months of relentless increases that have squeezed both businesses and consumers nationwide.
Michigan residents, despite deep-running ties to motor vehicles, are trying to adapt to the times and are factoring the new prices into their driving and consumption. The sales of small vehicles are expected to rise, as are the use of mass transit and cycling as modes of transportation.

The raising gas prices has put a serious strain on just about everyone, hopefully things will get better soon.
